Registering DeLeach:

After you've installed DeLeach for the first time, the the built-in _self and _def policies will be active, and you can create directories in your website and start using the policies right away. If this is all you need, you don't need to register any further.

However, if you'd like to use any of the other facilities that DeLeach offers, you'll need to register your software:

Select which version of DeLeach is right for your needs.
Use the buttons on the form to pay your registration fee.
You will be given a registration code, which will unlock the functions you need.
(You will also be sent a copy of the registration code by email.)

How do I use the registration code?

Illustration of registration dialog You'll need to key your registration code into DeLeach in order to activate the functions:

Start the DeLeach Admin Console
(It may be on your desktop, or it may be in the list behind Start menu.. All Programs..Webgineers..DeLeach.)
Click on the tab marked Registration
Key in the User ID and registration code which was given to you when you registered.
(When you have keyed the codes correctly, you will see a confirmation at the bottom of the dialog that you've entered the code correctly)
Click OK.
(The Admin Console may need to restart the IIS server - though it won't need to restart your whole computer. You should allow it to restart unless there is a good reason not to.)

Where does my User ID come from, and can I change it?

Your User ID is typically the email address registered to the Paypal account which you used to pay for your registration. Using your Paypal contact email provides both you and us with a degree of security that other kinds of key don't provide.

We understand that there may be occasions where a different user ID is more appropriate. If that applies to you, please contact us before you place your order.
